Great app if you use it properly. The time it takes to transfer money out of your account is a bit painful so as long as you just use it s as a savings account that has good interest rates you’ll be satisfied

These people writing reviews claiming "scam" or "locked account" recently are superbly uninformed and not reading up on what really happened but instead are knee-jerk with an emphasis on jerk reacting to something they can and should clearly read about before posting. These people shouldn't be investing anyway. No DD, no research, no questions asked just blast out trash biased reviews from the outrage factory.

I recently used acorns mobile check service to deposit 2 checks from the state of California legit checks owed to me back pay first one went through then a day later thought I would deposit another check both for 1,500 and they locked my account can’t get anyone within the company to talk to I sent them sensitive info because they wanted so called proof of where the checks came from it says it on the check it’s been a week nk money so pissed off that they can’t verify the checks no real company employees who can help emails are all automated customer service is out sourced to another country filed a complaint with the. Better business bureau and they too haven’t answered me back

Worst customer service of my life... took 4 calls with the same information and like 10 emails with the same information. I've never seen more incompetent people.. They held my money for over a month. Impossible to change a bank account within the app don't do it

Acorns is a ripoff. Buyer beware. Never seen such little growth on an investment in an emerging market. Not sure if it is because of the ridiculous expense ratio or the fact that they invest most of your money in international companies, but it was one of the worst investment decisions I have ever personally made. Not only that, but it is very difficult to see where they are investing your money and how much it is actually costing you.
