Unfortunately things are adding up in relation to customer services delivery on wen chat. It's just awfull.
On my most recent interaction with a customer service representative, I was treated in a rude and unprofessional manner telling 'I needed to do more research how CDF' works. It's like teaching the duck suck an egg.

I contacted Etoro to inquire about some fees that had been added to my account. I was told that these fees were due to CDF fees, which are charged when a trader holds a short option overnight. I explained that I did not have any open short options that attracted fees, but the customer service representative would not listen and his response 'all CDF attract fees', he couldn't have been any wrong and was not worth going back and forth. He simply told me to do more research on how CDF fees work.

I am disappointed that I was treated in this manner by a Etoro customer service representative. I believe that customer service representatives should be polite, professional,l and fully knowledgeable in navigating each position opened to check or even when dealing with difficult customers. I am also concerned that the customer service representative did not properly investigate my issue before providing me with an answer.

I hope that Etoro will take steps to ensure that its customer service representatives are properly trained and that they treat customers in a respectful manner.

But for me, this platform would not be a long term anymore. It a shame because I think they have fantastic platform, easy to navigate and work witj, chat serous very quick and connects with agent within few minutes. They just haven't invested enough in their agent training enough.
