The fact that I can save from small amounts taken from percentage from purchases I've made makes it unnoticeable but it does add up.

I have been trying to unlock my account for two weeks. They locked my account as soon as I asked to withdraw money. In order to withdraw the money, I had to open a checking account. Two weeks later, still locked. I've emailed, called, chatted...nobody can fix it. I've asked for a refund of money invested and to close my account. They won't do it until my account is unlocked. No one can tell me why it's even locked.

They were happy to take my initial deposit with requested information and then blocked the account until I send them them a copy of my bank statement and my photo ID. I told them no, that they didn’t need that information to open the account, and have no business with my bank statement. They will not refund my money back to my bank the funds were withdrawn from. Horrible company and I do not recommend them.

Worst. Bank. Ever. I set up an account which they charge monthly for but I needed an account to receive my wages and for my business. They requested documents for the payments which I gave them but then chose to with hold my funds and claim they sent them back to “victims” which I don’t even know what was the problem so they took my money and left me on over draft. They said they can’t close my locked account until I transfer funds into it which is ridiculous. On top of it all I had an extra £30 added to my phone bill for calls trying to sort the issue. They are complete thieves and I have seen I am not the only one who has had this issue. DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM!!!!!

No one can be reached here, pulling all my money out immediately . 5 hour wait times on the phone, not acceptable at all.

I used acorns for years, I had small issues here and there but nothing major until last year, every time I deposited more than a few hundred dollars, they would locky account and card due to "suspiciously large deposits". Then they would make you call into a number that doesn't pick up and email a system that promises a response in like 48 hours. I finally got tired of them doing this, it's really strange that a bank would cause you issues for depositing money. I closed my account in December of 2021. I jumped through all their hoops to do so and thought I was finally rid of the headache. Today I just happened to notice an acorns fee in my account so I called. She said my account was still open and that's why I was being charged. She asked if I had a cancellation email from them. So I searched and found 2. One datdled 12/24/2021 and the other dated 12/16/2021. She had me read them both to her and then couldn't explain why I was still being charged. Then she said she would cancel my account, process a refund and then sent me the same email that I got back in December... We will see if it really gets done. None of what they do should be ok

I have been with the company since 2014 and have had zero issues funding my account.Unfortunately, now that I am trying to withdraw money they are giving me a hard time and requesting I "Verify" my account.This would be perfectly understandable if I hadn't already switched my primary account several months ago. I find it beyond frustrating that acorn will accept money from my account but is giving me such an issue when I try to withdraw money. For a company that advertises using them as an emergency fund they are slow to respond and their customer service agents are useless.Edit: Your response is a copy and paste and is useless. Do you really think I haven’t tried calling your useless support team? I literally got them on the line with my banks customer support and sent in the document that your customer support request and still got denied.You are keeping my money from me and I will 100% be withdrawing everything after I finish dealing with this. I also filed a report with the SEC and the BBB.

Do not use this so called investment company. You will lose money guaranteed. They will take any dividends you might gain for themselves and leave you in the hole. Not to mention after canceling my subscription they still took out money from my bank account without permission.

I’ve been using Acorns for 3 years now and will be closing all of my accounts as soon as they determine if they are going to issue me a refund for a disputed transaction or not. I cannot believe how horrendous the customer service has been. I haven’t had to ask them for any help with anything until today, and by chat and by phone, the customer service representatives have been nothing but dismissive, rude, and incompetent. I ask a specific question and they completely disregard it and they don’t seem to understand English. I have had to dispute transactions with other banks before, and have always been assured immediately that the funds will be back in my account as soon as possible, but not with Acorns. They wouldn’t even cancel the transaction while it was still pending, which is outrageous and unheard of. That is the optimal time to cancel a transaction if there is an issue because it hasn’t settled yet… yet Acorns wants to be more complicated about it??? They refuse to give me an estimated outlook on the solution to the dispute and it doesn’t really seem as if they’re going to be on my side about it, which is horrible for a bank to not put their clients first. I’m incredibly disappointed and can’t wait to leave them forever. Bank and invest elsewhere. Acorns is not a company you can trust.

Acorns continued to charge me a monthly fee even after I canceled the service and closed my account, I’ve had to call multiple times to correct this with long hold times. When I tried to get it corrected through online chat it was not fixed.
